When I first opened my massage therapy office in North Raleigh, NC, I believed bodywork had to be forceful to be effective. Though others saw some relief with painful techniques, I began finding lasting results through light touch. Now, I only use gentle touch therapy, which is intentional and powerful for nervous system healing.

LightSource Healing Arts reflects my dedication to authenticity and presence, inspired by my wife’s journey with Rooted Hair Shop. We create grounded, supportive spaces for clients, an essential element for intuitive healing. By being fully present, I help release tension with light touch, allowing the body to heal naturally.

Focus

At LightSource Healing Arts, the focus is on providing a safe, accepting space for transformative healing.

Practitioners serve as facilitators, holding space to support calm, clarity, and a deeper connection between physical ease and inner well-being.

Craniosacral Therapy and gentle bodywork are integrated to support the needs of the body, mind, and spirit.

Journey

  • 2012

    I was blessed with the first direct recognition of the Divine and began teaching postural yoga while diving into the study of energy healing.

  • 2013

    Out of pure curiosity, I took my first bodywork training.

  • 2015

    Married my wife, Alli.

  • 2016

    I left my sales job and took a leap of faith into massage school, marking the beginning of a new and transformative path.

  • 2017

    I opened Melt Massage and continued my in-depth study of orthopedic massage and gentle trigger point work, deepening my practice.

  • 2018

    I built a thriving sports and orthopedic massage practice, stepped away from teaching postural yoga, and began exploring new forms of movement and awareness.

  • 2019

    Clients began frequently reporting a deep sense of peace and a flowing sensation throughout their bodies during sessions—arising without any intention on my part.

  • 2020

    The world shut down, and my son was born. In the quiet and upheaval of new parenthood, my sense of purpose deepened and the voice of inner guidance grew clearer.

  • 2021

    My practice evolved beyond sports massage to center solely on gentle, regional pain-reduction bodywork—carefully attuned to the body's quieter needs.

  • 2022

    This year brought new life in more ways than one: the birth of my daughter, and the beginning of my study and practice of Spiritual Healing.

  • 2023

    My bodywork practice shifted toward a CranioSacral Therapy approach.

  • 2024

    Melt Massage was retired, and LightSource Healing Arts was born. CranioSacral Therapy became my primary modality.

  • 2025

    The subtler aspect of the work shifted away from energy healing language and toward a quiet, faith-rooted approach centered on trust, presence, and the unseen work of grace.
